What to watch for on Election Day
Your guide for local elections happening across the state. We discuss anonymous attacks, fundraising numbers, "culture war" issues like CRT and book bans, dueling endorsements, tax votes, and more!
Tuesday is Election Day in Oregon. Here are some of the races we’re watching around the state.
This year, school board races reign supreme around the state. As education policy professor Andy Saultz says, “School boards are at the epicenter of the culture wars.” In this post, we cover anonymous attacks, fundraising numbers, "culture war" issues like CRT and book bans, dueling endorsements, tax votes, and more!
There are contested school board races on the ballot across the state, including in Hillsboro, North Clackamas, Canby, Salem-Keizer, Newberg, Albany, West Linn-Wilsonville, Crook County, Oregon City and Gresham-Barlow (among other districts).
There are also tax measures and other local offices on the ballot, too. Keep reading to see the full list.
