I believe our democracy is alive. Obama gave us Trump, Trump gave us Biden. Obama never felt like a leader of all and went after his detractors constantly reminding them he had won. Trump had great success in restoring our military and creating a great economy and business climate but his mouth was always an issue. Now we have a President who appears like someone with dementia and instead of uniting the country has placated the far left and created a split that will endure for years. You are correct we need a leader. No idea who that leader is but they will come along. Democracy is ugly but it is still the best.
