Great philosophy here Jessica. We saw you in action last night in Oregon City and we appreciate your "feet on the ground" approach to governing our state. One point I don't understand why we use the word "fight" all of the time when talking about our issues. It really should not be a fight . . it should be a rational discussion where all parties reach a consensus about helping our immigrant kid get an education, or cleaning up our streets, or prosecuting criminals that prey on people on the street, etc. Let's not FIGHT each other anymore, let's collaborate. good luck.
There is a difference between immigrant and Illegal. Immigrants do it the right way and come here legally just like my ancestors in the 1600’s. Illegals are the millions of people crossing our borders illegally while breaking our laws. You cannot have a country without borders and so when you write about immigration you dishonor all that did it correctly by lumping in the others.
