I must have misunderstood Oregon360 Media's mission and journalistic philosophy. Reagan Knopp's family and working relationship with Senator Tim Knopp; his work for the Senators who participated in last session's walk out; his strong relationship with the Oregon GOP; and his relationship with Oregon Right to Life and work funding right-wing Republican candidates disqualifies him from this kind of reporting, particularly without disclosure. Very disappointed.

Reagan is a political insider and he does have a keen eye and ear for who is running for office or not. This is a political website, and the people who run it are involved in politics. As a journalist, I find the information here to be helpful. We journalists talk with people across the board.

This is very helpful, Ben and staff. Please help me understand how Republicans, who avoided their elected positions, could possibly retain their seats when voters overwhelmingly decided they couldn’t?

That is in dispute. The courts likely will have to decide.
